Jerry, Sherry, Ashton, I am deeply saddened to hear about Velma's passing. My memories of us raising our kids at WCA will live in my heart forever. We had many fun times together. The sun has set in this life , but the dawn of daybreak for eternity has just begun for sweet Velma. So sorry that I was out of town and missed the service, but my love and prayers are with you all. Teeny we love you and will miss you. But we know that at this very moment you are in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I shall never forget all those Sundays when you and Jerry would drive me, Bo, and Tommy to Tasty Freeze for some ice cream. You will always have a special place etched in my heart. I'll see you in heaven. Jerry and Sherry, we all love you very much. In Christ!!! -Jamie and Deborah

I am so sorry to hear about Velma. I have so many precious childhood memories from our times together when Lisa, Louis and I were children. The loss of a mother/grandmother/spouse is almost unbearable - praying for you and mourning in your loss. She was a very kind, generous and loving person.

Jerry, Sherry and family,
I'm so sorry to hear of Velma's passing. She was a wonderful woman who helped raise my girls at a young age at Building Blocks. Her love for children was only greater in her love for the Lord and her family.
Love y'all, you are in my prayers.

Mr. Adams, Sherry and Ashton,
We are so saddened to hear the news about Mrs. Adams. You all were very close and she will be greatly missed. Everyone could see the deep love she had for her family and the special place Ashton had in her heart.
She always made our family feel welcomed. She treated Baylor and Colton like they were her own and both truly enjoyed the time spent with her. We will not forget the day she waited with us during Karen’s surgery, her voice cheering on the girls during softball games and the laughs shared along the way.
She has now moved on to a place that passes all of our earthly understanding. A place of peace and joy. For her, the trumpet of the Lord has sound and time is no more.
We pray that you all have peace in your soul during this difficult time,
Robert, Karen, Baylor and Colton
